This Weekend: Remember

We celebrate the 4th of July because Patriots stood for their beliefs. They stand in defense of their dream and crafted it to a reality.
With July 4th approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all current and former
military personnel and their families. We are very grateful for your service. We can never understand the
sacrifices that you and your family make, but we are thankful.

  • To the men and women who place themselves in harm’s way, thank you.
  • To the spouses who are at home taking care of the family and keeping a sense of normalcy, thank you.
  • To the children whose parents are working hard at home or are deployed around the world, thank you…your moms and dads are heroes.
  • To each and every one of you who sacrifice daily in defense of our country and our freedoms, thank you.

Today, we celebrate the birth of the greatest nation, The United States Of American.  Our leaders in 1776 declared independence from the Kingdom Of Great Britain – thus the birth of America.  236 years of freedom and still going strong.    Our freedom symbol, recognized world wide is our Flag, the Flag of the United States Of America.  Display her proudly and properly. Let our heart and mind know that our men and women in the armed forces protect our country and our flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of their republic. May our country, in dealing with other countries – May she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong.  ~By Jim McShane
